About

Lucy George is an award-winning knitwear and crochet designer with a distinctive love for bold colour, layered textures, and expressive patterned mark making. Working from her desk studio in Leicester, she creates vibrant, tactile artworks and textile designs that celebrate craft, individuality, and British making.

Each silk scarf and art print is proudly produced in the UK in collaboration with British manufacturers. By focusing on exclusive designs and limited runs, Lucy ensures every piece remains special and unique. Her creative practice is deeply influenced by her collection of vintage silk headscarves and her experimental approach to colour arrangement and composition.

Graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a first class degree in Fashion Knitwear, her final collection received industry recognition, earning multiple awards and nominations. This strong foundation has supported the development of a multidisciplinary creative practice spanning knitwear, illustration, and textile art.

Working as a freelance knitwear and crochet designer for many years, her designs have been featured in leading knitting and crochet magazines, including Simply Knitting, The Knitter, The Knitting Magazine, Simply Crochet, Inside Crochet, and Crochet Now.
